Multi-Sport CHS Seniors Sign to Play College Football

Crescent High School seniors Mason Johnson and Dawson Merk both signed letters of intent to play football after graduation. Mason signed with Newberry College after his run as a wide receiver for CHS. Mason is a triple sports athlete who also plays basketball and soccer. Dawson Merk also signed to continue his education and football career at the Citadel. Dawson, also a baseball standout, was a vital linebacker on this years football team. Head Football Coach Sheldon Evans commended both men's character and determination on and off the field. Congratulations to these young men for striving for excellence, and setting the standard for Crescent Athletics.
